I don't know about you guys but I refuse to play my favorite games when its flawed like these little issues on the emulator versions it erks me. They are small issues but they tear at me if I play these games I don't want to see this, it completely throws me off its a no no for me and the controls are clunky way more then they were on an N64 controller. I tried playing long ago I got 10 minutes in to Turok 1 and quit because its missing pieces on some of the models especially on the shotgun.

I would only recommend these options: Play the PC version with mods that make it run better, plug in the old N64, or wait for remaster :) Going with Turok 1,2,3, and Rage Wars on emulator is asking for a clunky and pretty terrible experience of Turok besides the nostalgia.

Yeah, the weapon sprites were another thing, though it didn't bother me at the time. Also, there was the phenomena of the Wall Hack. xD

I heard the old PC port wasn't as great (music not working after a certain level, along with other bugs?), but at least the Steam version doesn't have those issues.

No emulation is going to be prefect, from what I've learned over the years. You're either going to get game breaking glitches or the minor stuff that can either be ignored or tweaked until it's not longer an issue.

I think the only perfect emulation I ever got was with the 2D Metroid games, especially Super Metroid on the SNES9X. Anything 3D is bound to have a lot more problems because of all the requirements.

Everyone seems to have different experiences with emulation, but we can all agree on how flawed it is. It can never fully replace the console or system that it was originally meant to run on.

Honestly not a fan of the way they put shaders on it. However the new content might be interesting if it's not the unused assets being readded.
Null reference exception.

This is quite a lazy remaster to be brutally honest but i hope they put in some new stuff or reimplement MP, maybe in a better way.
Also, Drahsid, Even if they are just unused assets, maybe they can complete them to something more appropriate for the game. Still, not literally new.

One thing that stands out to me is the character models are such a low level polygon count they look paper thin. I know that's the original form but it kind of takes away from the new graphics rendering. I wonder how the engine would handle higher resolution character models. Looks promising though, and Kex 3.4 - hmmmmm. We'll see soon.

Yeah i'm very excited guys! One thing I can't stand is people already complaining in comments. Message to complainers: SHUT UP go back to your call of dooty.

Another thing that bothers me in comments is "everyone" wanted Turok 2. But with the announcment everyone wants Turok 3 and Rage Wars?? I want those two games much more! than the average bums saying "bring Rage Wars". I want that game a lot! But why are people like this? Turok 1 comes out everyone wants Turok 2. Turok 2 gets news everyone wants rage Wars. Can we please enjoy the fucking moment of T2 releasing?????

Anyways I'm not that upset at all just saying in general. I can't wait for this game I want it so much I would literally think 30$ is okay but I hope its 20$ like T1. I bet there still will be whiners :) All is good though my Turok's just saying^^ Yours truly the tear collector xD

I would literally think 30$ is okay but I hope its 20$ like T1.

I think it would be fair for Night Dive to charge more for T2 than T1, considering that it has multiplayer.
People complained a lot about T1 price when it first launched but I didn't see a problem with it. Maybe that's because I had been waiting so long to legally buy it on PC that I was willing to pay anything.
