Turok Rage Wars / Re: Rage Wars
« on: May 02, 2017, 08:23:49 PM »
Honestly when I was a kid I really wanted the game, up until I knew that it was a multiplayer only game. However a few years back I got a copy, since at the time I needed that along with the GB titles to complete my collection. (I still don't have any of those and I no longer own Turok 2008...) It's not too bad for what it is, but if it was released on PC it would have been better. I'd like to see a PC port of the game at some point, but I doubt it'll ever happen.

Other Games / Re: Nintendo Switch

I eventually want to get a Switch, but right now my money is tight so I won't be able to get a new console anytime soon. Also I'm waiting for more games to come out, the new Super Mario Bros. game looks pretty cool. :D I've never really got into the Legend of Zelda franchise myself, so I'm not too wild about the new one. I'm wanting Yooka Laylee for either the PS4 or Xbox One, and my birthday is coming up so maybe I'll get a copy for one of those consoles.

Anything Else / Re: Random Collection stuff

I own some Sonic the Hedgehog trading cards from the 1990's. That's not all I own from the franchise, but I don't have pictures of my t-shirts and few plushes as well as games yet.

I also have a huge binder full of old Pokemon cards that my girlfriend and I have collected over the years. We too have Blastoise, Charizard, and my personal favorite Venusaur from older sets. One day I'll have to take pictures of our collection. xD We also have some newer cards too since I've been meaning to play the trading card game at some point.

So it seems that most fans don't really care for this title as much as the other ones... I for one, think Shadow of Oblivion is the best Turok game. See I love how you have a choice between two different characters, and each character has their own set of weapons plus they take different paths. I also love the soundtrack the most. Plus I really love the story line too, and seeing how the Flesh Eaters are my favorite characters from the Turok series, this game is epic since it's based around them. xD I just wish it got a PC port... :\ I would have loved to play in some deathmatches with people online, and the game would have run a bit smoother on the PC as well. I can't be the only one who loves Turok 3 here right? :P

Turok 3 Shadow of Oblivion / Re: T3 Characters

I honestly like Danielle's weapons more than Joseph personally. Plus I can't really stand Joseph's voice actor, he could have at least attempted to sound like a 15 year old rather than a 20 year old. :P

Turok 2 Seeds of Evil / Re: Prima's official strategy guide

I actually own this guide. xD I also own the Brady Games guide as well, it's much smaller than this one. I got the guide probably a few years after I picked up Turok 2 for my N64. (I didn't have a PC until 2008... :V) I didn't know about the comic books until I read the guide honestly...
