Turok Dinosaur Hunter / Losing my way
« on: February 22, 2018, 02:44:31 PM »
What's up everyone! I'm pretty damn happy to say that I finally beat Turok Evolution yesterday and decided to now go back and play them chronologically starting with my favorite, Dinosaur Hunter. Now I haven't played this game in a very long time and wouldn't you know it. I'm now in my 3rd run through of level 2 looking for the second damn key... Level. 2. Lmao! Anyways does anyone here have any tips on easier navigation through the massive maps? I'd really not rather keep repeating these levels over and over looking for that last key..

Turok Evolution / Ending theories
« on: February 15, 2018, 03:07:36 PM »
It shouldn't come off as much of a spoiler with the ending of evolution. Bruckner dies and Tal set takes up the Tuork title. But it has driven many fans including myself what exactly happens to the failed and obviously frustrated lord tyrannus as well as Tarkeen. Now this is gonna be a pretty loosely based and somewhat generic theory but I personally believe that after the fall of lord tyrannus, the river village had lived in peace under Tarkeen's rule, him deciding to stay now that the threat was wiped out, and Tal Set returning to his own time. That is until a new threat had invaded: The Campaigner. With the discovery of this new land, he invaded, taking no mercy on anyone. Slaughtering the defeated Lord tyrannus, he would move on to the river village, and work his way through newly built civilizations, being the ruins and treetop village, leaving nothing but a blood trail. With Tarkeen on his last leg, I think he used what was left of his power to once again summon Tal Set, the proven warrior to not only save earth and the lost lands from further dominantion, but to also avenge the village and lives he had saved a few years before all of this. Now this is purely speculation and my own theory. What about you guys?  :campaigner:

Turok General Discussion / Turok on Gameboy
« on: February 14, 2018, 03:14:56 PM »
I had picked up the first Turok Gameboy game quite some time ago and I have to say, this game is SO underrated and a blast to play. It's not dinosaur Hunter by any means at all, but I must say for a gameboy Turok game, it's very very fun and addicting. Any reason why exactly this game never got the love and attention it deserved?
