That creature I think is a large Iguana but I think it got cut out of the original game. I wonder if its still inside the game somehow though, that would be interesting!

So a giant iguana?! Cool. This could be cool for Megalania. Also there is a way to open the models in this game?

I sincerely doubt it. Iguana Entertainment had to do a ton of data compressing just to fit what we ended up getting onto the cartridge; there'd be no room left for extras. According to a Dienstbier interview, they were just an extra 50KB away from having a Brachiosaurus in the Treetop Village, and as sad as he was about that getting cut, you can bet there wouldn't be unused models taking up space that could be used for it. :P

(and at any rate, Kaiser once said (http://www.shootersforever.com/forums_message_boards/viewtopic.php?t=5544) that there wasn't much of anything else left in)

You can extract the models from ingame btw. It just takes a bit to explain it. :) Will do soon

I wish that the iguana made it into the game reminds me a bit of the dimetrodon.

Well at least we had the dimetrodon in the final game. This looks more like Megalania, the giant monitor from the Outback.
@Rok: I hope to see it soon my friend! I dont know if in the game files there are unfinished models

But if you want to extract the models then follow Duke's guide here... it works. I now have all of the models as obj files :)

Sorry to revive this but in game files there are models of the cut content like Iguana-Moschops or Brachiosaurus from Tree Village?

Hello guys, look who is back! Well guys recently someone posted the source code of Turok. And recently in the wiki operative imp, posted pics of the Moschops, the creature I posted in the first post of this topic. Moschops was another creature I thought it could be. Another one was posted a Killer Fish. Another one was Pteranodon. Anybody knows if there are files in the game like skins or something to recover and post it in the workshop¿

What a stupid. I hope the guy who bought it, will post it one day. But one question, anybody has the pic of the pteranodon like the Moschops and Killer Fish?

As far as I know, the only image of the thing that was ever released was this one here (http://i.imgur.com/6NQsWIa.jpg) from a Dinosaur Hunter ad. Apologies for the quality; my scanner didn't particularly like the comic book that it came from. :P

Well at least we have a pic of the pteranodon. @operatime im: I see in the wiki you posted the pic of the killer fish, in the same guide pteranodon is mentioned? I think you should post it in the wiki, like brachiosaurus pic.

The short answer is no. There is no way to open these models in the editor, but you can go to model view in the actor edit mode of the editor and look at all the models.
The not so short answer, is you can export the models through the command console in game as .obj files. These files can then be opened, viewed, and edited. Once saved, you then import them using the command console once more and they are in. However, there are files in the defs you may need to edit to position first person models correctly on screen and in my experience they may end up sideways or backwards in game and you can fix it by just rotating them in your image editing software (I use blender). As far as pickup models go, these are very easy to adjust size and proportion in the editor, so you will never need to import or export pickups multiple times. One last bit though: we do not have the proper tools to have full control over the game's animations yet. This means it will be impossible to import custom enemies unless they are completely motionless (they could still move, but will slide across the ground with no animation). This is because we cannot assign nodes to custom models due to a lack of proper tools and or knowledge (if you don't know what nodes are google it, it's simple to understand).

It's possible, but very unlikely. I'll tell you what though, I will extensively look through the models and see if it is buried somewhere in there. If it's not I can try to pick apart some files in the PC version and see if the leftovers may be there. Other than that, N64 games were so compressed that devs couldn't afford to keep content in there like that. I mean to get a game like Turok down to 64 megabytes or lower is seriously impressive. A PS1 game disc has the capacity to hole 700 megs (over 10 times that of a 64 cartridge) and those games were pretty bad sometimes.
