Turok 3 Shadow of Oblivion / Raffine52's Turok 3 Mods

This is a collection of mods I made for Turok 3 (Both Original and Remaster) that don't need a page of their own. This will be updated over time.

Note: If you are wondering why it is a mess (Like [/b]s) I just remade it in due time. I will clean it up later.

T3EX HD Weapon Textures for N64 T3 (N64 EMU VERSION ONLY!):

This Texture Pack backports the HD Textures of the MP Weapons from the 2023 Turok 3 Remaster back to the Original Version. Only the Bore is unaffected since even in HD Textures, The texture remains unchanged.

Install: Drag and drop the hires_texture folder from the RAR file to the same folder where your texture packs are stored.

MP Stuff:

Current Version: V1.3

This mod replaces the Weapons, Ammo and a few items with their Multiplayer counterparts (That were included in the Remaster, But unused). It also includes the Fan-Made Remaster Icons for the GL/Shotgun/Bore Upgrades, As well as custom MP Versions of Bore Burst and Possessor (Credits goes to thebestmlTBM for making them for me). As of V1.2, It's almost done: There's still a few things to change up, But almost everything has been imported.

What's currently in:

Nearly all Weapons and Pickups are replaced with their Multiplayer Counterparts (The ones that don't appear in MP remain untouched)
Nearly All of the Pickups now use their MP Models, Including the Weapon Upgrades which didn't originally had them in the original game

HD Icon Textures Addon
The Rest of the Powerups (Aside from Ultra Health, The Rest of the powerups's coding hasn't been ported over)

No Weapon Upgrades for you!

Weapon Upgrades are really useful and can break the game wide open. So what if they are taken out of the game? 'No Weapon Upgrades for you!' does just that.

This mod gets rid of all the Weapon Upgrades found throughout the game and replaces them with Normal Weapon Pickups (And Arrow Ammo in Bow's case). HP Drainer, Razor Wind and PSG Pickups remain unaffected since they don't count as upgrades. Without them, The Player has to do with the Normal Weapons as best as they can, Without the Upgrades to back them up, Making it for a really fun challenge run.

Castlevania 64/ Lament of Innocence Music Pack:

Current Version: V1.3

This Music Pack replaces all of the tracks with music from the Castlevania Series, mostly Castlevania: Lament of Innocence and Castlevania 64, while including a few tracks from Symphony of the Night and Harmony of Despair, But also includes tracks from Turok 3 GBC.

Turok 1 Guns in IDTech1 (And Before the V2.5 update, Turok 1 Guns in Doom) is a Mod that I Started working on February 7 2018, and was released in February 13, 2018. That's many years since It was first released, and since then, It has gotten updates throughout it's life cycle, With the V2.3 Update bringing in 3D Models to the Mod, and V2.4/V2.5 improving things further.

How this was made? I was playing GZDoom, And out of my mind thinking I can play Doom 64 Levels using Weapons from Turok 1, And so, I made this. Weird idea, isn't it? Of course It was my teenager self having some nice thoughts here and there, but still.

The Goal of this Mod is to recreate the weapons from Turok: Dinosaur Hunter to GZDoom/Zan, With some touch ups here and there. Originally the mod covered just Doom, But the V2.5 Update extended it to Heretic and Hexen (With Strife support coming later).

This mod by him is a Followup-Update of Turok 2 Singleplayer Guns in Doom!

Joshua Fireseed is summoned by Adon, the Speaker of Forever Light. She explains that Joshua has been called by the Elders of the Lost Land, the Lazarus Concordance, to stop the Demons from Hell from Destroying his Home Land. Joshua's task is thus clear: he must locate the Demons, destroy all forces mobilized to attack them, and then destroy Hell itself to end the threat that he poses to the Lost Land once and for all. In the process, he must defeat Hell's armies and acquire powerful weapons. But He's not alone: He's joined by Tal-Set, The Turok from Turok 1, to Aid in his quest.

Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Guns in Doom is a Doom Mod that he started on November 12, 2017, But No Work was done on it Until November 18, 2017 Is where he started Working on it. Free from a Game where you can beat it in 3 Hours and full of Bugs, The TK3 Guns comes to Doom, Where they can Enjoy Kicking Ass without the Glitches Ruining their Fun.

The Reason why he started it is because Turok 3: SOO Had the 2nd Best Choice of Weapons, Only Behind Turok 2: SOE, But he was upset when he couldn't find any Doom Mods that has Turok 3 Weapons Ported in, Because The Game Was so Short that he Beaten it in Three Hours While he was having fun with The RPG, Fireswarm and Others, And Because Turok 3's MP looked like crap in terms of graphics since the Weapons Keep their Low-Res Models even in Single Player Mode with Bots (Which had no excuse when even Turok: Rage Wars didn't do this And even with 2-4 Players Playing, The Weapons keep their High-Res Models but with Simple Animations and No Hands). So That's why he is planning to Fix that and Port over Almost all of Turok 3's Arsenal into Doom, Of course!

The Goal of this Mod is to Port over much Of Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion into Doom, Which Includes Weapons, Items and Health Packs. However, Just like Turok 2 MP Guns in Doom Mod that he is still working on, A few Weapons will not be like the Original in terms of it's Firing Modes. Unlike that Mod, There will be some Weapons that would not be added into the Mod, So The Razor Wind and PSG Will not be added. The Sniper Rifle will also use it's own Ammo due to how powerful it was in TK3 (Uses AR Ammo, and If you make your Shots count, You can destroy pretty much any Enemy in the Game), But However he will release a Addon that Changes it back to Use Rifle Ammo Again.

Joseph and Danielle's Gameplay from Turok 3 Will not be ported over, So Joshua Fireseed's Gameplay Will be used. So the Player Sounds will be like:

Also Unlike Turok 2 MP Guns to Doom Mod, he will Release The Mod With Half of the Weapons Missing, And In the Later Updates, The Missing Weapons will be Re-added back in. Here's the Think List.
