Turok: Evolutions art gallery features alot of cool concept art and beta stuff. Problem is, it is SUPER tiny. It is not scaled either, that is the native resolution.

This image, for example, features the earliest build of the game known to date. The area in the background is nowhere to be found in the final game and the Tek Bow has Noticeably different textures, being brown and more stinging if that makes sense.

Another thing to note is that Tal'Set, Djunn and Mayana are all hidden in the picture. Here they are if you haven't spotted them yourselves:

Also, if you dont recognise him yet, David Dienstbier is the one on the lowest row, far left with a red jacket and white shirt.

Anyways, for those who are interested, here's the rest of the Beta concept art. This was a long thing coming anyway:

I can only imagine how different Evolution could have been if Acclaim had more time and money to work with. Thank you for posting these!

This was indeed all in the games files. The reason i posted it is because i figured 90% of the people that played this game have never even unlocked the art gallery, let alone looked at it.
Seems i was right about that. I ripped them all by hand.
Glad you all like em! They've been added as an icon pack to the forum if anyone wants to use one of these.

That Juggernaut's pretty spiffy. I'm eagerly awaiting your capture card, whenever you get it. :P

I'm not sure how to look through the Xbox .tre files. I have everything in .bin format, and I've gathered that standard textures (I mean the ones that aren't particles and such) are stored as .bmpx files, but I have no idea how to extract them. Any tips?

As far as i know, the textures are all .bmp, .tga and .txff or something. Thats what i got from looking at strings in the beta .xbe anyway.

Guys i made more exciting news that i will record.

Alot of characters and voices are unfinished in this build. Almost all of the slegs share the same voice and voice clips in multiplayer, as do other characters.
The female senators voice actor is male for the most part in this build and i believe the fourth one is actually used instead of the dying civilian, though i had trouble beating the level.
Fun fact: some gamecube versions also have her male voice. Duncan is extremely unfinished and buggy. Once he spawns, his hat will stay on the floor / slightly above the floor where he initially spawned. He looks fine without the hat i guess lol. Something worth mentioning is that even after he dies, the hat will stay where it was until the end of the match. The rocket arrows seem to sound differently.
