Turok Evolution Community Fan Game

I saw that you guys are getting the models exported, I was thinking, as a community we could create a fan game.
If you'd like to help, just post here.
As for now, we should decide what game engine it should be wrote in.

A Custom engine would be cool. But at the same time, you can use Unreal development kit 4 because its easy to work with and you wont have to deal with the hassel of writing your own engine for like 2 months.

I could be interested in this though, but all I could do is make maps. The engines I have used is UDK 3 and the good old build engine :) I have found interest in searching into the Road Hog engine used by Devolver Digital. Also another thought could be ID Tech 4. But I have never touched either one so unless I get my hands dirty on one of those and into it I can't say them. My dream would be to use Turok 2 engine that's a long shot I suppose :(

Here I will have to go with UDK4 because it's new, updated, i'm somewhat familiar, and plus I have friends that make maps in it also. So an answer on how to do something isn't that far away. But I mostly like making jungle/temple maps so I wouldn't mind making them for something like this if I am already making them anyway. I planned to get into this already actually because I wanted to make atmosphere levels that are in what seems to be a tropical rain forest, temple, jungle, and lost land. It was planned to be an open world map this could give more reason to get into it though.

I prefer Unity due to my skill in nVidia CG and preference to C#, but I can use UDK4 just as well.

This is highly interesting and also the type of posts I like to see. I dont know enough about any of it to beable to contribute but I will surely be here to support such thing. Turok: Evolution 2! You also do know that Turok 08 has dinosaur renders that are already available.

And yesterday I decided to get back into the Unreal Engine. I needed to refresh my memory on things especially since the last time I touched this it was UDK3. But anyway here is what I built just to refresh my memory :) its really nothing but to show that I am getting back into it. I can't wait to start building my real level I just wanted to refresh everything I learned previously and pick up a few things additionally.

So soon I should have some images of the actual maps I make to show to you guys :)
